Amye is a Perry County native. She received her associate’s degree from Hazard Community and Technical College and her master’s degree in family nursing practice from Bradley University in Peoria Illinois. As a registered nurse Amye has experience in oncology, med/surg, ambulatory care, HEDIS measure abstraction and in clinical documentation improvement. Amye is an active member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Amye has been trained to care for patients throughout the lifespan ranging from infants to elderly.
